JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to enhance our presence on Upwork. The ideal candidate will generate leads, acquire new clients, and build lasting relationships on the platform. This role requires a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to identify new business opportunities to meet and exceed targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify potential projects and clients on Upwork.
  • Submit compelling proposals and bids tailored to client requirements.
  • Optimize proposal templates and approaches to increase conversion rates.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for ongoing work.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and deliverables with internal teams.
  • Respond to client inquiries and follow up to close deals.
  • Research trends, competition, and opportunities on Upwork.
  • Develop strategies to position Baritechsol’s services effectively.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor and report on proposal success rates and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and design teams to enhance proposals and branding.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of more than 2 years as a Sales Executive, particularly on
  • Upwork or other freelancing platforms.
  • Must have software sales experience.
  • Experience with freelancing platforms beyond Upwork.
  • Strong understanding of Upwork, bidding processes, and client communication.
  • Experience selling well known IT technologies and services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft professional, client-focused proposals.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and other sales software.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in IT services or software solutions sales.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, software development, or technology services.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
